This coffee comes from Germán Carranza Barbosa’s farm named El Bebedero, located in the scenic village Gracias a Dios, in the Peruvian department Amazonas.
Our importing partner's relationship with German and his family started in 2019, which has allowed their business trips to origin to turn into visits with friends.
They’ve had the pleasure of visiting El Bebedero three times now, with Germán and his beautiful family as hosts. Healthy trees span the entirety of the farm, there is new processing infrastructure and plans for future experimental fermentation and expansion. Growth on El Bebedero is not limited to only cup scores and quality, Germán is also developing as a visionary leader among his family and community.

Peru is a coffee power house and it does not yet get the recognition it deserves! Peru boasts an incredibly diverse landscape filled with micro climates where producers are doing amazing things. Germán Carranza and his family present to you a beautiful blend of Bourbon, H1, and Marsellesa.  It's my current favorite.  I hope you enjoy it too!  :-)
